DO: KFIT & COMO Shambhala Urban Escape

If you read my entry on KFIT, you’d probably know by now that I’ve been on their plan for the past couple of months. Just today, I took a half hour to list out all the studios/gyms I want to try out in December; the next on my list is the Gym Access at The Shangri-la.

I was bogged down with work last week and in dire need of some downtime. Walking through COMO‘s doors and into their welcoming main area relaxed me instantly – it felt like being in someone’s delectably-furnished living room rather than a yoga studio with for-sale products on display. And my beginner Iyengar I class was exactly what I needed to feel 100% better about my crazy week.

As someone whose Top 3 factors when choosing a work out studio includes a clean shower, I was relieved to see that not only were the changing areas dry and tidy, the lockers didn’t require for me to bring my own padlock. I often overpack for class like you would for a school camp, and a tiny padlock is usually the last thing on my mind. Kudos to Como!

If you’re not already with KFIT, sign up with my promo code YUNQ and receive your membership at SGD79/month instead of the U.P of SGD99/month. Very sweet deal given the types of gyms, studios and areas you have access to. Yes, I’m talking about the beautiful hotels with their gyms overlooking the view of our city.

I’ll be back with more work out joints to share!
